The hypocrisy of Muslims is overwhelming. On one hand, they violently protest against cartoons that dipict Mohammad. On the other hand, they have no qualms in destroying religious structures of other religions since the very birth of Islam.

Pakistan had apparently protested the Taliban's destruction of the priceless Bamiyan Buddhas. But behind the facade, they had actually assisted in destroying for eternity.

Swiss documentary on Afghanistan: Pakistani, Saudi engineers helped destroy Buddhas

WASHINGTON: The Bamiyan Buddhas in Afghanistan were destroyed by the Taliban with the help of Pakistani and Saudi engineers.

According to an account published here on Saturday, a local Afghan told the makers of a Swiss documentary on the giant statues which had stood there, carved in the side of a mountain for hundreds of years, had been destroyed by engineers from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The dynamiting of the statues took place in March 2001. Swiss documentary filmmaker Christian Frei, who has made several documentaries that have won praise at various international film festivals, shot 'The Giant Buddhas' in Afghanistan. The film is due to be shown at the National Gallery of Art in Washington on 26 March.

The Taliban went ahead with the destruction of the giant statues, revered for centuries, because they considered them "offensive to Islam". They ignored appeals from around the world, including UNESCO and an appeal from the then Government of Pakistan, made, it would appear now, more "for the record" than any serious intent to stop the Islamist zealots from destroying what the rest of the world considered mankind's heritage.

Taliban minister of information Qudratullah Jamal said in a statement later, "The destruction work is not as easy as people would think. You can't knock down the statues by dynamite or shelling as both of them have been carved in a cliff. They are firmly attached to the mountain." Museums and governments around the world kept hoping until the end that the Taliban would desist from committing what the rest of the world saw as an act of "cultural sacrilege" but they were adamant in their resolve.

A delegation from the Organisation of the Islamic Conference went to Kandahar to urge the Taliban leaders to change their mind, but was turned down. The Taliban information minister was quoted at the time as saying, "We would repeat to them as we have to other delegations that we are not going to back away from the edict, and that no statues in Afghanistan will be spared." UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan also urged the Taliban not to go ahead but was rebuffed. Koichiro Matsuura, the head UNESCO, said the agency would continue efforts to salvage other Afghan relics targeted for destruction. "It is abominable to witness the cold and calculated destruction of cultural properties which were the heritage of the Afghan people, and, indeed, of the whole of humanity," he said in a statement. Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak dispatched the Grand Mufti of Egypt to Afghanistan to plead with the Taliban rulers to spare the statues but his emissary had no success either. Zahi Hawas, the man in charge of the plateau holding the great pyramids outside Cairo, said at the time, "They are making bad publicity about Islam - and Islam has nothing to do with what is happening in Afghanistan."

Xuanzang, a 7th century Chinese monk, pilgrim and chronicler, travelled to Bamiyan and wrote a graphic description of the statues. He even mentioned a giant "sleeping Buddha" in the area, but no trace has been found of that in modern times

CAIR is the same vicious group that protested the visit of Gujrat's Chief Minister, Narendra Modi from visiting the United States.

CAIR presents itself as an advocate for Muslims' civil rights and the spokesman for American Muslims. "We are similar to a Muslim NAACP," says its communications director, Ibrahim Hooper.[1] Its official mission—"to enhance understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding"[2]—suggests nothing problematic.

Starting with a single office in 1994, CAIR now claims thirty-one affiliates, including a branch in Canada, with more steadily being added. In addition to its grand national headquarters in Washington, it has impressive offices in other cities; the New York office, for example, is housed in the 19-story Interchurch Center located on Manhattan's Riverside Drive.

But there is another side to CAIR that has alarmed many people in positions to know.

Wafa Sultan: The clash we are witnessing around the world is not a clash of religions, or a clash of civilizations. It is a clash between two opposites, between two eras. It is a clash between a mentality that belongs to the Middle Ages and another mentality that belongs to the 21st century.
It is a clash between civilization and backwardness, between the civilized and the primitive, between barbarity and rationality. It is a clash between freedom and oppression, between democracy and dictatorship.
It is a clash between human rights, on the one hand, and the violation of these rights, on other hand. It is a clash between those who treat women like beasts, and those who treat them like human beings. What we see today is not a clash of civilizations. Civilizations do not clash, but compete.

Some fanatic Moslems are carving for human blood and have already started to offer huge prices for it.
The latest is Haji Yakub offering a princely sum of 51 Crore Ruppees for the Head of the Danish Cartoonist. (yes, they think there is just one of them)

Lucknow, Feb. 17: Haji Yakub, a Samajwadi Party minister in Uttar Pradesh for minority welfare and the Haj, has announced a cash reward of Rs 51 crores for the head of the cartoonist who had made the offensive cartoon of Prophet Muhammed.

The insulting cartoons were first published in a Danish newspaper, and then republished in other European newspapers, sparking off Muslim indignation and anger across the world. Haji Yakub added that the person who brought him the head of the cartoonist would be given gold equivalent to his weight.

“The person who has insulted the Prophet does not deserve to live and anyone — irrespective of his nationality — who eliminates the cartoonist will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 51 crores and gold equivalent to his weight,” the minister said while addressing a gathering of Muslims who were demonstrating in Meerut on Friday to protest against the offensive cartoons.

Although the minister said he had made the announcement not as a minister, but as an “honest Muslim”, he later said that he had made the statement after consulting the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mr Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Mulayam Singh Yadav, aka Mullah Singh is a notorious minority-ass-kisser who leaves no chance to worship the muslim votebank to gain political power. Haji Yakub a minister from Mullah Singh's Samajwadi Party, by issuing this R. 51 Crore Supari/Death rewards for 'the cartoonist's head' (as if only ONE cartoonist drew those cartoons), has brought shame to India as a tolerant society.

If this kind of death call had been issued by, say, the VHP against the obnoxious Husein for painting Goddesses in the nude, it would have brought shrill, vocal and agitative protests from the pseudo-secular camp and the leftists. Yet, when every time fanatic blood thristy Moslems bay for somebody's head, our Indian p-secs and leftists seem to sympathise with them.

The Moslems have this nasty habit of imagining themselves to be victims everywhere and that Islam is in danger from every side and therefore, violences is warranted.

Police failed to control the mob incited by stick-wielding bearded men, some of whom even fired at a Naseerabad precinct police van. [The police seem to command so much fear and respect!]

The raiders entered the Askari Bank building in Bank Square and robbed money and computers and destroyed the bank’s furniture Another group of thugs broke into McDonalds restaurant nearby, chained, beat and burnt ‘Ronald McDonald’ the clown, robbed all the cash and ate the food. They also brutalised people inside the restaurant.

The outlaws entered Pizza Hut on The Mall where they looted all cash and ate and ran away with pizzas [They hate western culture, so they ate up all the pizza], after beating the restaurant’s employees. They also broke into Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) on The Mall and robbed cash. A man was seen fleeing with frozen chicken on his motorcycle.

The plunderers broke into Allied Electronics and robbed vacuum cleaners, irons and air conditioners. They broke the ATM outside Muslim Commercial Bank on The Mall. The also broke into McDonalds restaurant on Edgerton Road, looted cash and beat the employees. Another mob broke into Shezan bakery in Garhi Shahu and robbed cash and food.
The robbers robbed more than 25 shops on and around the road from Naqi Arcade to Alfalah Bank, and also looted some not so valuable goods including readymade garments and shoes.

Saudi King flaunts faith, skips Rajghat

The absence of a visit to Mahatma Gandhi's samadhi at Rajghat on the official itinerary of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud, chief guest at Thursday's Republic Day celebrations and on a state visit to India, has raised eyebrows and left people wondering as to what could have been the reason for
his omission.

Rare is the occasion when visiting dignitaries, including heads of Islamic countries, do not visit Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. It is a permanent fixture on the official itinerary and part of the protocol drill.

However, it is understood that Rajghat was not included in the official itinerary of the Saudi monarch, who during his visit raised the annual quota of Haj pilgrimsfrom India by 10,000 to 1,47,000, a gesture "much appreciated" by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, given the fact that he is the keeper of the Wahhabi faith and the custodian of Islam's holiest shrines.

In either capacity, the King would not have agreed to pay obeisance at a monument, in this case raised in the honour of the memory of Mahatma Gandhi. Hence, Ministry of External Affairs officials, while negotiating the itinerary of King Abdullah's state visit with their Saudi Arabian counterparts, chose not to suggest the customary visit to Rajghat.

Babus know what is expected of them as Dhimmis and did not even raise the question of visiting Raj Ghat.

Keeping all these things in mind, we need to consider the merits of the Indian claim in a more objective manner. There is no chance that if India does not become a member Pakistan will. There is no other Muslim state that can realistically be put forth as a serious candidate for membership in the Security Council. The day when the Ummah is united in a grand caliphate ranging from Morocco to Indonesia is still not at hand. Should the Muslim world not seek other ways of gaining a voice in the Security Council? Let me present a strategy that might help Muslims gain a voice directly in the Security Council. India already has a Muslim population of 140 million. It has been consistently opposing US interference in the Middle East and quite honestly its record on anti-imperialist issues is better than Pakistan’s. The sticking point is of course Kashmir, but I see little possibility of India bargaining with Pakistan on Kashmir to get the latter’s support. Pakistan does not have such great clout in the UN General Assembly as to mobilise effective opposition against India.

Sufism is supposedly the peaceful, mystical school of thought in Islam, but its contribution to Jihad can never be underdetermined.

In my reverence for the race of the prophet, I treated their chiefs with great honour…

Hindu Shrines, whether they are small village grove temples to deities or large Monoliths, the actual spot of these temples usually have great significance. Most temples are build over sacred areas, places and spots of mythological, puranic significance. In comparision, Islam except for the three Mosques, does not attach any significance to the place while they build their mosques. A Mosque is a place of congregation of muslims. It is not to pay homage to any particular area. [the Meccan Mosque, Mosque of the Prophet and the Al Aqsa Mosque are exceptions]... The Shias have much more mosques that have significance with the Kabbalah and the Shitte Imams, and so do the Sufis honour their religious leaders with Grave-Shrines. But we are talking about the Majority - the Sunnis.

In this regard, the Mosque at Ram Janma Bhoomi [the Birthland of Lord Ram] has no spiritual nor historic Islamic value attached to it. This mosque, usually called the Babri Masjid could be located any where. The very spot where it stands has no significance to Islam.

But that Mosque, Hindus believe, stands on the ruins of an Original Temple to Lord Ram and is the place where Ram was born. Thus that place has the greatest spiritual and religious connotations for Hindus.

The Muslims know this, yet the perfidity of their religion and exclusiveness taught by their faith that makes them look down on all other religions as false, useless, dirty and lowly makes the Human inside a Muslim die. They become tyrants and adamant. They struggle and aim to destroy the non-islamic world and believe that they are doing God's bidding.

WHile they don't want to loose as much as an inch of their Mosque, they elsewhere seek the very same from Christian non-believers that they refuse to the Hindus... Cordoba Mosque!

Student kills sister for ?honour?

MULTAN: A seminary student killed his sister with a hatchet because he suspected her of having an affair in Kabirwala on Friday.
Ghulam Mohiuddin, 20, a student of Rizvia Shamsul Aloom, of which his father is the principal, repeatedly hit his sister Sakina Mai, 25, with a hatchet when she was washing dishes. Mr Mohiuddin suspected Ms Sakina of having an affair with a young man. Police arrested Mr Mohiuddin who confessed his crime. ?I am neither ashamed nor afraid of the punishment because I killed my sister for a noble cause. I belong to a religious family which is highly reputed in the area and this had to be done to maintain our status,? Mr Mohiuddin told reporters while in police custody.

Mere Suspicion an affair is apparently a fully justificable reason for murdering somebody in Islamic Societies. Note the apology about this being a Noble Cause, just as Jihad is described in the Quran and about their family being 'religious'. More than 100 women have been raped in a single attack carried out by Arab militias in Darfur in western Sudan.

Speaking to the BBC, the United Nations co-ordinator for Sudan, Mukesh Kapila, said the conflict had created the worst humanitarian situation in the world.

He said more than one million people were affected by "ethnic cleansing".

He said the fighting was characterised by a scorched-earth policy and was comparable in character, if not in scale, to the 1994 Rwandan genocide.

"It is more than just a conflict. It is an organised attempt to do away with a group of people," he said.

Arab militias, backed by the government, have driven hundreds of thousands from their homes, in retaliation for a rebellion launched a year ago by two armed groups.

They accused the Arab-dominated government of ignoring the black African inhabitants of Darfur.

More than 100,000 people have fled across the border into Chad, but have continued to face cross-border raids.

Attack
Mr Kapila said 75 people were killed in the attack on the village of Tawila at sunrise by Arab militiamen two weeks ago.

"All houses as well as a market and a health centre were completely looted and the market burnt. Over 100 women were raped, six in front of their fathers who were later killed," he said.

A further 150 women and 200 children were abducted.

This attack a fortnight ago is one of many across the arid territory.

Village after village is being razed to the ground by the militias, he said.

To compound the problem, aid agencies can only reach small parts of Darfur and are subject to attacks.

Mr Kapila called for more aid and for urgent international intervention to bring about a ceasefire in the war.
